Valley coin operated pool table

This Fort Collins customer owned an original Valley coin operated barbox table. We were pool table movers on this day.

These tables are really easy to work on. first we removed the chrome trim around the table. This required a #2 phillips head.

Once the trim pieces were removed, we removed the bumpers. These hold the slate in place. We used a 1/2 inch socket.

Once the bumpers were removed, the slate was accessible. At this point, you simply pick up the slate (which weighs about 500 pounds). The white spots on the cloth were caused by some previous water damage. The customer chose not to replace the cloth.

With the slate removed, the inside of the barbox is exposed.

Now we remove the legs, and that's it. The body moves as one piece (which weighs about 500 pounds too)!

Here is the table reassembled in the new location. It would have looked better with new cloth, but it just wasn't in the budget.
